Requirements / Skills

  • Graduate of Journalism, Business, Marketing, or Mass Communication course
  • At least two (2) years of experience in proofreading/editing various writing materials
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Can work under pressure and be able to multi-task
  • Maintain a positive energy level to function effectively and independently

Job Responsibilities

  • QA/Edit, and proof read content (web page copies, SEO articles, blogs, press releases, magazine features, and reviews)
  • Provide feedback to the writers about their articles to help them learn and improve
  • Verify references used in the content copy, to ensure that the details used are correct
  • Check and correct syntax construction, grammar, and or spelling mistakes
  • Ensure that final articles should be written in perfect native-speaker English style
  • Submit content to the Manager for client approval
  • Evaluate writers on a regular basis
  • Oversee web site appearance and content of articles
  • Assist writers to meet their deadlines effectively
  • Oversee operation of the writers in the absence of the Manager
  • Other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior and/or the management
